Managerial/Coaching Career

Beginning his first season as Major League Bullpen Coach, replacing Jason Bere (2016-17)... Spent two seasons as a Major League Advance Coach & Staff Assistant with the Indians in 2016-17 following his retirement from a 17-year playing career...In the role, "Atch" assisted the club's advance scouting process, provided analysis of upcoming opponents and disseminated advance content to coaches and players while working closely with the club's pitching coaches and coaching staff.

Playing Career

The Woodlands, Texas native appeared in 298 games over his nine-year Major League pitching career, going 17-11 with a 3.63 ERA for Seattle, San Francisco, Boston, New York-NL and Cleveland. He spent his final two seasons working out of the Indians bullpen, combining to make 93 relief appearances from 2014-15...Scott was selected by Seattle in the 49th round of the 1998 June draft and made his Major League debut for the Mariners on July 31, 2004.
