ARMANDO CAMACARO, who turns 39 on April 6, begins his ninth season on the Indians coaching staff. His duties include catching starting and relief pitchers and throwing batting practice along with assisting Indians positional coaches with functions relative to their positional responsibility. "Camma" spent his entire 11-year professional career in the Indians organization, hitting .224 (299/1333) in 418 career games from 1999-09. He was signed out of the Tribe's Venezuelan Academy and spent two seasons in the VSL (1999-2000). The Caracas-native now resides in Westlake, Ohio with his wife, Heidi, and their sons, Gabriel and Samuel.
