CLEVELAND -- The fan who caught Jason Donald's first career home run Tuesday night didn't want Donald's autograph. For Donald to get the ball back, the Indians turned to their most attractive trading chip. You could call it a pinch-hit appearance for Shin-Soo Choo, who autographed a ball for the fan in exchange for Donald's home run ball. "I'll do it any time," Choo said.
Donald, who will keep the souvenir of his solo shot off Jake Peavy for life, took no offense to the fan's demands. "Not at all," he said with a smile. "I understand. Choo's the man. I'd want his autograph, too."
