The Indians have been given permission by Major League Baseball to begin the postseason ticketing process for potential playoff games played at Progressive Field.
Sitting three games behind American League Central-leading Detroit Tigers as of Wednesday morning, Cleveland has a chance to make the playoffs for the first time since 2007, and the second time since 1999.
Indians season-ticket holders recently received information regarding their opportunity to purchase postseason tickets, and single-game ticket customers have three options to go about acquiring tickets for potential home playoff contests. Two of those options -- ordering a 2011 partial season-ticket plan for 20 games or putting down a deposit for a 2012 season-ticket plan -- will result in guaranteed 2011 postseason tickets.
The third option is a lottery that fans can enter at indians.com/postseason for a chance to purchase single-game tickets for potential AL Division Series, AL Championship Series and World Series games.
