In his first start back with Triple-A Columbus since making a spot start for the Indians last week, right-hander Trevor Bauer threw six scoreless innings on Wednesday. The Indians' No. 3 prospect -- No. 71 on MLB.com's Top 100 Prospects list -- helped lead Columbus to a 3-1 victory at Toledo.

Making his case for a full-time spot in the Indians' rotation, Bauer struck out nine and allowed five hits. He earned the win and threw 99 pitches.

Bauer's first Triple-A victory of the season comes on the heels of his solid showing with the Indians last Wednesday. Pitching in the second game of a doubleheader against the Padres, he struck out eight and allowed two runs (one earned) in six innings.

Between Triple-A and the Major Leagues this season, Bauer has a 1.00 ERA and a 26-to-5 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 18 innings.

The Clipper's offense was supplied by the three position players in the lineup ranked on the Indians' Top 20 Prospects list. Second baseman Jose Ramirez (8), right fielder Carlos Moncrief (10) and first baseman Jesus Aguilar (19) each drove in a run. Ramirez added a stolen base and scored a run.
