Indians Recall LHP TJ House From Columbus


CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:

Recalled LHP TJ HOUSE from Triple-A Columbus.

Optioned RHP AUSTIN ADAMS to Columbus.

House, 24, begins his fifth stint at the Major League level with Cleveland in tonight's start vs. Texas. So far in 10 games/9 starts for the Indians this year he is 1-2 with a 4.50 ERA (50.0 IP, 64 H, 25 ER, 14 BB, 32 K), the last of which came on July 21 at Minnesota (ND, 5.0 IP, 6 H, 3R/ER). Around his stints in Cleveland he has posted a Triple-A mark of 1-4 with a 3.79 ERA in 10 starts for Columbus (57.0 IP, 56 H, 24 ER, 16 BB, 42 K).

Adams worked an impressive 1.1 scoreless innings last night in the 12-2 win vs. Texas.
